All-New Global Ford Focus Coming to America Next Year
Ford is introducing the all-new global Ford Focus this year in certain markets, the result of feedback taken from Focus customers around the world, as well as a human-centered design process. The all-new Focus features innovative tech like the Ford Co-Pilot360 safety suite, a more spacious interior and an improved driving experience with new EcoBoost engine options and a new eight-speed transmission.
The underlying architecture of the new Ford Focus will be shared around the world, but each market will receive a tailored lineup with a unique combination of body styles, trim levels and engines to best suit that region. Ford plans on launching the all-new Focus in Europe and China this year, with the North America launch coming in 2019.
“We’re evolving our successful One Ford strategy to find new ways to create a sporty-looking small car our customers will love,” said Jim Farley, president of Global Markets. “We’ll tailor which cars in the Focus line-up we offer in markets around the world to ensure we best meet customers’ different needs and preferences.”
A number of innovative technologies are coming to the all-new Ford Focus, including the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite of driver assist technologies that keeps drivers safe while on the road. Ford is also equipping the new Focus with FordPass Connect which features WiFi hotspot connectivity for up to 10 devices and the ability to remotely locate, lock, unlock and start the vehicle.
Additional information about the all-new Ford Focus will be available as it gets closer to launching in the U.S., including available body styles, trim levels and engine options. View our new inventory to see all of our other new Ford vehicles for sale at Sam Pack’s Five Star Ford of Plano.
