Ford EcoBoost Challenge comes to Texas next month
The Ford EcoBoost Challenge returns this year for an expanded 17 city tour across the U.S. The EcoBoost Challenge lets consumers test drive the newest Ford products, including newly released vehicles such as the 2015 Edge and F-150. Last year, over 28,000 people participated in the EcoBoost Challenge.
Events begin in Miami at the Sun Life Stadium on March 7, and will then travel to cities all over the United States. All of this year’s participants will have an opportunity to win the brand-new EcoBoost-powered 2015 Ford Edge.
EcoBoost engines are now available in 100 percent of the U.S. light-duty lineup. EcoBoost combines improved fuel economy and better performance to beat the competition. Participants will get to test a variety of new and improved features across the entire Ford lineup, including Auto Start-Stop and park assist technologies.
Drivers will also have the chance to sample some of Ford’s performance vehicles on the track, including the 2015 Mustang, Fiesta ST and Focus ST. A “ShiftPhobia” boot camp is being offered as well, where a professional driver will teach the basics of driving a manual transmission.
Texas residents will have two opportunities to get in the driver’s seat of a new Ford vehicle, with events taking place at AT&T Stadium in Dallas on March 21 and at NRG Park in Houston on April 18. Space is limited, and participants much pre-register at ecoboostdrive.com.
If you can’t wait until next month, you can take a test drive of any Ford vehicle at Five Star Ford of Plano, and view information on any vehicle in our online inventory.
